FAQs

A 930nm infrared lens filter cuts light below 930nm and lets all light above this wavelength pass, producing high-contrast, monochromatic images with exceptional detail and texture.

The 930nm filter is ideal for scientific research, forensic applications, and artistic imaging, revealing intricate details hidden to the naked eye.

No, the 930nm filter cannot be used with stock cameras. It can only be used with full-spectrum cameras or cameras converted to an infrared wavelength under 930nm.

The 930nm filter can experience about 10 stops of light loss due to the sensor's sharp drop-off in infrared sensitivity after 900nm.

Clean the filter gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and lens cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to maintain its optical quality.
